Sarah Whitsett, Daughter of John Whitsett And Sarah Thompson, And Samuel Simpson Family
Sarah Whitsett, sister of Lawrence Whitsett who died in Greene County, Alabama in 1836, is mentioned in two of the estate settlement documents. Our only source for the names of her children is in those two documents. It was beyond the scope of my Whitsett research for me to fill in the blanks for this family. No mention is made of the home of the Simpson family, but it is likely they remained in Tennessee, perhaps Sumner or Davidson Counties.
