The trail head for the Whitsett Trail, part of the Youghiogheny River Trail. The Whitsett trail begins in Whitsett, Pennsylvania the town founded by Ralph Crawford Whitsett on Rainbow Island in the Youghiogheny River.

The young lady on the left is Susie Jones of Fairmont, W. Va. who is a direct descendant of William Wirt Whitsett and Ralph Crawford Whitsett.  Next to her is my daughter Tonya Madia and my grandchildren Jolie and Jeremy Madia.  I took this picture in Whitsett, Pa. in April 2009.
