In June 1976 I received orders to Iraklion on the Island of Crete in Greece; in July we left Fort George G. Meade located between Baltimore and Washington D.C., went back to Fort Smith to say goodbye to family. My mother then traveled with us out to Arizona to find a place for Sue and the Kids in Apache Junction near Art and Denise. |
