Click on the file links below to download to your computer our GEDCOM 5.5 files, Family Tree Maker 2009 files and Simple Register PDF files.  The GEDCOM file can be imported into your genealogy program.  The GED is a standard file format for genealogy files and all good genealogy software is able to convert them into the format your program uses.  The files are formatted as GEDCOM 5.5 text files.

If you have Family Tree Maker 2009 (the latest version of Family Tree Maker), or a genealogy program that can import FTM 2009 files you can use these files rather than having to rename GEDCOM files from TXT to GED file type.

If you would rather enter the data by hand into your genealogy program, download and print the simple register PDF files.  This is the method I use because it eliminates information I consider wrong, or information that would otherwise be duplicated.

I hope to update this list frequently.  Also, if new information comes to light that impacts these files, I will attempt to keep an up-to-date copy available through this web page.  Information on living individuals has been "privatized."  

Download GEDCOM files as text (*.txt) to a convenient directory (I download all files from the Internet to a folder named "Downloads" so that I can isolate and easily identify them).  The file will appear on your screen as plain text.  Viruses cannot be placed in a plain text file, so if it displays on your screen as a readable text file, it is safe.  If you see any "gobbledygook" in the file, don't download it.

1. From the "File" option on the menu bar,

2. click on "Save As..."

3. Save the file (displayed on the screen) as text (*.txt)

4.  Using your file manager (such as Windows Explorer) Rename the downloaded file with the extension "GED"

5.  Finally, import the renamed GED file into your genealogy software.
